I really like the color and composition! Reminds me of a sunset, which is somewhat like death, depending on the violence of the colors. Her face is painful to look at! Nice emotion 
Now, if I may nitpick for a moment, I feel the dismembered head is proportionally smaller than her own head, and since it's her father, should be bigger than her own head.
But emotionally, this reads really well.
