FOTD Prologue 11

If I could have my own way, I would make a comic just with facial expressions. Darn those essential storytelling techniques!

I'm actually happy with the dialogue here, probably because I wrote it FIRST and then drew around it. I also like it because it covers up the nasty bland backgrounds (they're supposed to be in a pub/restaurant of some sort). May Technical Illustration save me from drawing horrible furniture.

Aaaand yet another coloring method change. >.< never happy.

Does anyone have any lettering tips? Particularly on making the bubbles. Any suggestions of making the bubbles kind of squarish at the corners in Photoshop? Or do I need Manga Studio or Illustrator for that kind of thing.

I like Vlad. ought to, too, because he's got green on him.
